System Operator: Russia’s power consumption rises 3.3% in Jul

MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s electric power consumption grew 3.3% on the year to 80.8 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in July, dispatching company System Operator said in a statement on Thursday.

In January–July, Russia’s power consumption increased 2% to 623.2 billion kWh.

Power production grew 3.1% on the year to 81.8 billion kWh in July and 1.7% on the year to 628.9 billion kWh in January–July.
